RISE will be hosting a first of its kind Cycling Talent Identification Camp and Symposium
El Paso, TX – RISE will be hosting their first talent identification camp for athletes of all ages in El Paso, Texas June 14th – 16th. High school and college bound student athletes will have the opportunity to showcase themselves in front of key coaches, administrators and sport directors from collegiate and club teams to elite, national and international programs. RISE will provide these young athletes with a platform and network to pursue their future as competitive, lifelong cyclists.
For those passionate enthusiasts not looking for a college scholarship or professional contract, RISE will be providing an experience focused on personal achievement and growth. Athletes will be presented with the same network of experts and physiological testing to push their limits and achieve goals they never thought possible.
RISE will bring together some of the best cyclists, coaches, trainers, sports medicine experts, sports psychologists, nutritionists, team chefs, and bike industry brand leaders, offering a one-of-a kind curriculum with compelling discussions. Attendees will be networking and building relationships with RISE’s panel of experts and undergoing a balanced testing protocol to develop a baseline dashboard of performance metrics to help develop training plans focused on achieving performance goals. RISE is also interested in cultivating the mental aspect of an athlete’s competitive nature – how they make decisions, reflex timing and the personality traits that impact an individual’s training methods and performance. RISE’s speakers and panel discussions will offer insight, inspiration, and recommendations for optimizing, both mental and physical performance.
With the inaugural event in June 2019, RISE has developed an innovative approach to identifying, developing and nurturing cycling talent in athletes of all ages and from all athletic disciplines. Our overarching goal is to help these athletes become cyclists for life, and to help them achieve their personal cycling goals through the development of life skills, creation of a collaborative network cycling experts, and improve athletic performance on the bike.
